Marketing Effectiveness as a subject has gained significant currency in the industry in recent times. It was no surprise that a record 52 agencies competed for the Effie Awards 2013. Amidst stiff competition, Lowe Lintas and Partners has been named ‘Agency of the Year’. With 16 wins the agency finished on top with 165 points.

Speaking on the occasion, Joseph George – CEO, Lowe Lintas and Partners said “The Effies is the only award we enter in India because they reward true creativity; which in our book, is one that takes on the responsibility to provide brands disproportionate return on the money spent by them. This performance of ours is an endorsement of this belief that we and our clients hold dear. Very dear”

In the recently published study of ‘India’s Most Trusted Brands’, Lowe Lintas and Partners had scored the highest share of any agency among the top 5, top 10 and top 20. The agency believes that marketing effectiveness plays a vital role in building trust for brands and their performance at Effie 2013 is a great example of that synergy in action.

Amer Jaleel and Arun Iyer – National Creative Directors, Lowe Lintas and Partners say, “We knew we had a great body of work this year, but to max the Effies is a happy high after long. It’s a fantastic feeling to revive the nostalgia around the cracking of ideas with the legit excuse of a legit awards night. The best part was we came together and made it a grand evening.”

Adds S. Subramanyeswar – National Planning Director, “It’s been a remarkable year for the agency where we’ve produced some of our best work. We continued to put ruthless focus on creating ideas that make a strong business impact on brands across agency disciplines. This outcome at the Effies encourages us to try harder and make further progress in that direction.”

The wins for the agency, their highest ever, came in a wide variety of product categories ranging from consumer goods to financial services, telecom and retail. The agency picked up awards for national and regional campaigns including disciplines such as integrated marketing, experiential marketing/ brand experience and best ongoing campaigns.
